Ordering Method

We have decided to go the safe route of ordering two boards for testing then 10 afterwards. We will loose roughly $298.75 by doing this, but the alternative is potentially loosing roughly $611.36.

Notes

• It takes roughly 15 days for a JLCPCB order to arrive.

PCB Deadlines:

• March 8th: Inventory done.

• March 10th: First version of Among Us and GPS boards get ordered.

• March 25th: First version of boards arrive.

  • Make changes to it before April 1st.

• April 1st: Order second version of Among Us.

• April 15th: Second version of boards arrive.

  • Begin code.

    If Among Us is still messed up, put in third order, then we can panic and order a third version.

• April 20th: Everything done, including hardware and code.

• May 10th: Competition day.

CAD Deadlines

Standard avionics bays will have to be CADded.

Updated Plan for Development Workflow and Breakout Board Schedule

1. Project Outline Document

• Task: Create a comprehensive project outline document detailing the objectives, scope, and workflow for the breakout board development.
• Due Date: March 8, 2025

2. Development Workflow

1. Breakout Board Design Process:
   • Each breakout board design challenge will be completed by the development team in 1 week.
   • After completion, a team meeting will be held to discuss and refine the design.
   • One team member (rotated weekly) will finalize the design iteration based on the discussion.
   • The finalized design will then be sent to JLCPCB for assembly.
